Chief Operations Officer (COO)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is pivotal for our rapidly growing fintech company, responsible for the effective management and smooth operation of all business lines and functional areas. The COO collaborates closely with the CEO and executive team, driving strategic plans and objectives, ensuring profitability, and leading global expansion efforts.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement, and manage operational plans to enhance company growth and efficiency.
Partner with the CEO and executive team to set company strategy, goals, and tactics.
Analyze internal operations and identify process enhancement areas.
Oversee daily operations across IT, Customer Service, Risk Management, and Compliance.
Drive superior customer experiences through coordinated service activities.
Ensure operational activities are timely and budget-compliant.
Manage contract negotiation and partner/vendor relationships.
Establish effective systems for reporting and tracking key operational metrics.
Uphold all regulatory laws and rules for financial and data handling operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a COO or similar executive role.
Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.
Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
Ability to develop efficient operational strategies.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to demonstrate a creative, flexible, resourceful, and disciplined approach to driving a complex mission-driven investment program Travel required
